I can't believe I forgot to submit this here! This was actually first piece I made after coming back, but I finished the commissions and while sinking into HARPG stuff I forgot all about this. But here he comes! This gorgeous stallion was my contest price for winning *Rajial's contest Angry Equine. So thank Predator for his glare of doom! I asked for black and white quarter horse stallion and that's what I got. I really love this guy to pieces, I'm very grateful for having him. I was very happy with the bio Rajial put together, so it is (c) *Rajial, I just edited a few things and wrote the background story from my point of view. You can see the original picture + info here: [link] --- Bio: Name: ZGS Haphazard Tears Stable name: Hazard Gender: Stallion Breed: Quarter Horse Age: 5 Height: 16.3h Discipline: "Quarters" racer Color: Black and white tovero Markings: Paint markings including white front knees, a star Genetics: EE/aa/TT/nO Passable Traits: Tall and lean build, incredible speed, high level of intelligence, throws beautiful and uniquely marked foals Sire/Dame: Founding stallion Bloodlines: None Personality: Haphazard Tears is quite a mystery. His demeanor is somewhat unpredictable. Considering his background (read on), he can be set off by many different stimuli. His reactions are oftentimes small, but he can go into "panic mode" and usually takes off with his amazing speed at these points. "Hazard," as we like to call him, enjoys toying with tack and anything laying around and frequently ruins objects that are left in his reach. His good-natured sense of humor offsets his dangerous streak and makes him a generally easy horse to be around... on the ground, that is. See his breeding status and passable traits at my stable journal: [link] Background Story: Hazard was rescued from a slaughter truck by Rajial, and the Humane Society handled her the stallion after the incident. But as Rajial was too busy training her other horses to risk injury with this new stallion. Given her financial stance, she needed to find him a new home asap. A call from Rajial got miss Grimhound running to the phone. She got a quite quick but as good as possible explanation of the situation, and even over phone the stallion seemed too good to resist. So as miss Grimhound always did in these situations, she hopped into her car, wondering if Rajial had actually over exaggerated how magnificent the stallion was. She was expecting to see showing ribs, spinning eye-whites and all that. But after she finally got there and got the stallion in sight, she gasped from the beautifullness of the animal. He was wide awake, seemingly nervous and snorted every once in a while, head held high as a stable hand held his halter. Miss Grimhound heard that the New Horizon staff didn't know if he was broke to ride, but he had proved to be so fast it could be expected that he would be a quarter racer. Miss Grimhound didn't doubt it for a second that that horse would have a bursting take offs. Maybe even too much, if he'd try to get rid of the rider. But miss Grimhound was experienced with that sort of horses, she had probably seen every bucks, rears and take offs possible. But it could just be expected as she worked with very dangerous and sensitive animals daily. All the paperwork got done and eventually miss Grimhound was able to take Hazard home. She had told all about him to her most trusted stable staff. When they finally arrived, the stallion was banging the trailer's walls like he was trying to kick his way out of there. Miss Grimhound had had to pull over many times to try to call the stallion down. She couldn't blame the poor horse, he sure didn't have good memories about loading. Miss Grimhound shuddered as she pictured that gorgeous animal being put down in some sort of suspicious slaughterhouse. Thank god there were people like Rajial. When they finally got to Zero Gravity safely, the stallion pranced down from the trailer and one could hear many sighs from around him. "I was sort of expecting you to bring home some sort of monster, but this boy just seems like he needs some loving care and time", Anne, one of miss Grimhound's stable workers said. She could see many nods around her. Miss Grimhound smiled. "I think we have enough monsters of our own, but this guy needed a home and we can provide it to him." The stallion was let out to paddocks to work out most of the steam the long trailer journey had caused. After some full speed laps and raw bucking he calmed down and started slowly grazing. "Welcome home, Hazard", miss Grimhound whispered. Credits Artwork (c) *kalmakoira Character design + most of the bio (c) *Rajial Brushes used (c) `adonihs |

"Dear Diary: Today I was pompous, and my sister was crazy. Today we were captured by hillfolk never to be seen again. It was the best day everrr." -Jayne Cobb, Firefly
Awws, that part of the leg was coloured very lightly so it was a bit hard to see the markings exactly as they are. But I'll look deeper into it and try to correct it once again.
