IT IS FORBIDDEN TO CREATE ADOPTABLES OUT OF THIS BREED WITHOUT ASKING ME!
IN A NUTSHELLThis is what you at least need to know in order to create acceptable Hallowequine.Colour:
- Colours are always combination of orange, black and white colours
- There can be very minimal amount of one or two of the colours, but all three must be on the horse
- Base coat
cannot be dominantly orange. If you want a horse with an orange base coat, ask me first.
Markings:
-
UN-type markings can be any unnatural patterns, like swirls, linear stripes, jigsaw pieces, tribals, etc
-
NA-type markings are natural shaped, like blazes, stockings, paint markings, splashes, stripes, starts, etc. For example a horse with black base coat and orange blaze and socks and couple of white spots is NA, even if normal horse wouldn't have orange blaze. The key is the
shape of the marking.
-
UN/NA-type clear combination of both markings, for example a horse with blaze and two normal socks, and then swirls on his/her rump. Starters aren't normally considered UN/NA-types even if they feature both markings, they will be marked up with what type of markings are dominant, UN or NA. If there are equal amount of both, then even starter can be marked as UN/NA.
- Blending markings are allowed on NA-type horses, but they're the least desired.
Mane and tail:
- tend to be long and silky, some bloodlines feature curly hair or upgrown spiky hair (mohawk like) too.
- can be one-, two- or tricoloured and any combination of the colours of black, white and orange. Fully orange mane and tail are quite rare though.
Eyes- can be any colour, two-toned or one eye different colour than the other are very rare
- black, yellow and orange are most desired colours
Build:
- Most common and most desired are light, finer breeds like arabian, morgan and saddlebred
- Not common and not rare are warmbloods, thoroughbreds, angloarabs etc.
- Semi rare are breeds like quarter horses, mustangs, andalusians (notice these must be light type andalusian, not the sort of heavier build ones) etc.
- Extra rare are drafts,
DO NOT make draft Hallowequine without asking me
Characteristics:
- Most commonly Hallowequines are curious, wise creatures that enjoy spotlights, they often need professional handlers though. It is very typical for Hallowequines to be hot tempered.
- There of course can be crazy and even cruel creatures, but this isn't that common
- Different sort of disorders like maniac, depression, schizophrenia etc. aren't common, but when they do show up they very often pass down to offspring and their offspring and so on.
Discipline:
- is often related to the breed, like for example thoroughbreds are most often used for racing
- most common disciplines are halter and dressage and fit this breed the best
- also quite common are racing, jumping, cross country, even some western (they like to learn tricks like spin)
- Hallowequines won't necessarily work well as workhorses, but if it fits your horse feel free to train it that way
BREEDING YOUR HORSES:
-
DO NOT cross Hallowequines with BL Harlequines, it is forbidden
- if you breed Hallowequine to CL Harlequine, one of the four colours is always lost. You
CANNOT get a horse that has black, white, orange and red. The foal might either be Hallowequine or neither of these two breeds
- This breed doesn't have any bloodline starters, so you can just create your Hallowequine
- If you breed UN-type to UN-type, you will get UN-type horse
- If you breed UN-type to NA-type, you might either get UN-type or UN/NA-type
- If you breed NA-type to NA-type, you have 30-50 % chance of getting Hallowequine foal, because NA-type horses have more normal colours in their genetics. If the foal is not Hallowequine, they often are chestnuts, red roans, jetblack or smoky blacks or white (can be cremello or perlino too). Or sometimes one colours just drops out and you have black and white, black and orange or orange and white horse
- Even if you breed UN-type to UN-type and result with a NA-type, the new horse will be registered as NA. And if you breed NA-type to NA and result with UN-type, the new horse will be registered as UN.
How to mark your horse's type:
UN-type Hallowequine (build, for example arabian)
NA-type Hallowequine (build, for example arabian)
UN/NA-type Hallowequine (build, for example arabian)
- If you are not sure what your horse's type is, ask me and I will look at your horse and tell which is it, no problem.
How to register your horse:
- send me
A NOTE with a link to your horse, gender and type if you know it.
- I will inform you if there's anything wrong with it, and if not it'll be registered
-
THIS IS IMPORTANT! If you see an unregistered Hallowequine somewhere, please inform me about it asap!
