Ok, so I'm going to rant out couple things that are bugging me, if you don't feel like reading it... then just don't. How simple is that?

Krhm, so... First of all, in Finland it's very darn hard to be in high school. You don't get much support so you can't live on your own, no employers want you because you're still either under 18 or too busy to work full time. And if you want to clear your studies in the recommended time, 3 years, you have to work your ass off. Next year I'm going to have so hard time and I hate it already. This term (or period or what ever it should be called) is quite easy but I'm already so bored of sitting here and trying to cope with all the teachers and subjects so that I couldn't really care less at the moment. My studies are harder than any of my friends', because I have further maths and physics, and also biology and chemistry and those courses are provided only in certain terms a year 'cause they're quite rare, so I need to pick them where ever they are and that makes it hard to choose every compulsory courses I need to do in order to pass my high school. Sigh.

And the other thing is that if you're different, people are afraid of being with you because they might be "marked" for that and not wanted anywhere anymore. I am often thought to be "a weirdo", and most girls are jealous because I am engaged to a guy who they all wanted to be with and most tried all they could to get him to cheat me. You know, all that stuff "she doesn't have to know" etc. So these days it has boiled down the the fact that if someone asks who's my boyfriend I need to consider wheter to say the real fact or to say "just somebody" and change subject. It's not because I'd like that much being friends with those sort of people, but they spread all sort of rumours and get their friends dislike me too and that stuff. So I'm just trying to stay anonymous at the moment. It's not that I am ashamed of who I am with, I am damn proud of it, but being anonymous makes my life easier as I still need to finish partner works for courses, and it gets harder if nobody likes me because of some so stupid and immature thing they got going on in their heads.

And the last thing... People are so darn prejudice towards anything "different" here in Finland. People can turn away from certain person because he/she is black, religious in different way that they are, bi/homosexual, just dress up like they want and not doing like everyone else does something. So if you're independent people most likely will dislike you, because they can't be alone for a second themselves. That is just stupid if you ask me. It's pretty much the promised land for anyone that's a racist, and I myself am as far from ordinary Finn as I can get, so yeah it's a lot to cope with. Believe me, I'd rather live somewhere else. Especially, when Finland is said to be one of the most violent countries in the world.. and you know what? I live in one of the most violent towns in Finland. So you go figure.

I doubt many people will read this, but I needed to get this off my chest at the moment. By the way, my weekend was very fun, quite wild, but very fun despite some little incidents, but everything got worked out. I hope yours was too.
